For more than ten years, Oke`e Aviation Services has provided support to various aviation operations in Hawaii. I have included below a few of Oke`e clients and some of the projects I assisted with.
Contracted to develop a full Fixed Base Operations (FBO) at Honolulu International Airport. From business plan, equipment acquisition, staffing and operation plan.
Kaiser Air has operated a VIP air charter service from Oakland, CA to Kona, Hawaii for many years. The Kona shuttle operates twice a week with their 737-700 aircraft.
Oke`e Aviation Services was contracted to assist with the acquisition and development of a new terminal facility for this VIP service.
After nearly two years of working with the State of Hawaii, DOT-Airports Division, the project was dropped. Another case of doing business in Hawaii being difficult.
Oke`e Aviation Services had the opportunity to have a contract with Pulama Lanai to assist with their aviation requirements in Lanai and Honolulu. I assisted with the development of Jet-A fuel operations in Lanai as well as assisting with securing a hangar in Honolulu. I negotiated with the purchase of hangar and the development of a long term lease with the State of Hawaii, DOT-Airports.
