John lived a long and full life. He passed away on January 7, 2026 at the age of 102. John lived with my wife and I in Honolulu and remained very independent until just a few months ago. 

Below you will find a little more about John including  memories of his years in WWII.

John didn't attend Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day 2021 but did get a chance to contribute. Rishi Sharma of Remember WWII was in Honolulu and came by the house to interview John. John talks about his time in France, Belgium and Germany in 1944/45. â€‹
