N8777A was F-OBYU operating in Tahiti for Air Polynesie from 1963 to 1967. Charlie Blair purchased s/n 1152 and had it shipped from Tahiti to the Martinique on the "Tahitien" passenger/cargo liner. Once in the Caribbean it was a quick flight to join the growing fleet.
